Zespri® Kiwifruit Bread Tart
Transform normal white bread into an easy-to-prepare bread tart. This is indeed quick breakfast for your kid.
- 1 Zespri® Green Kiwifruit (Cut into slices)
- 6 plain white bread
- 125g whip cream
- 62.5g milk
- 44g caster sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 small egg

Preheat oven to 190ºC.
Roll and flatten plain white bread (you can substitute them with wheat loaf).
Tuck the flatten white bread into greased tart tin (or you can use muffin pan).
Bake for 10 minutes until crusty.
While waiting, prepare the custard. Mix well with whip cream, milk, sugar, egg yolk and egg.
Once the bread tart crust is ready, pour the custard mixture into bread tart.
Put some kiwi in the middle of custard.
Put in the oven again to bake for 20 minutes until custard is set and golden.
You may add on some fresh slices of kiwi during serving.
